As a secondary plasticizer in polymer compositions (cables, shoe and other plasticizers, films, plastisol, linoleum etc.) as a component in oiling compositions in leather industry. Well combined with basic plasticizers, based on phthalic acid (dibutyl phthalate and dioctyphthalate) and easily introduced into PVC compositions used for production `flexible` (cable, hose, boots, films, linoleum etc) and `rigid` (conduits, fittings) products.
